This photograph was taken during my visit to Lucca in the summer of 2011. The raised position afforded by the city’s tremendous walls brings the surround Tuscan landscape into close juxtaposition with the shade-giving trees that now line these fortifications. The relationship between the city and its surroundings become tantilisingly immediate.
The photograph is available in two sizes, c.135x135mm or c.190x190mm and is produced with the highest-quality archival inks on an archival photographic paper to convey all the qualities of the original image. The print run is limited to 150 and each print is available unmounted or set in an acid-free mount, ready for you to frame. The smaller print size is set in a 10×12” mount, the larger print size in a 16×20” mount.read more about my papers, mounts and prints here
