This photograph focuses on the curious cornice line that divides wall from sky, a strange juxtaposition of extravagant curves that almost meet around a circle and dead-pan straight lines around the central clock-face. Below, medieval features mingle with naïve but fashionable classical elements culminating in a perpendicular Gothic window with round arches.
The photograph is available in two sizes, c.125x125mm or c.190x190mm and is produced with the highest-quality archival inks on an archival photographic paper to convey all the qualities of the original image.
